2009 WEEK 2 NCAA

Dolphin Sports went 2-2 week 2 in the NCAA hitting his Top Play on Iowa as they rolled over Iowa State at Jack Trice Stadium 35-3. Ricky Stanzi threw a career high 4 TD in the game. Iowa rushed for 191 on the ground while Iowa State rushed for 190 on the day. State struck first on the day with a FG by Grant Mahoney from 46 YDS out in the 1Q, but that was all they would get all game as Iowa maintained possession of the Cy-Hawk Trophy. Dolphin Sports also had Pittsburgh as a 3* W on the day in Buffalo where Buffalo put up 500 YDS of TTL O on the day but also turned the ball over 4 times in the game as they lost their home opener. Dolphin Sports 2 Regular Play losses on the day came on USF and USC. USC had covered TL 4 against Ohio St to this point but that streak was broken as USC got a late TD to give them the SU W but not the cover. USC was better than Ohio St in almost every major category on the day but struggled to put points on the board. Big Swiss went 2-2 on the day but lost his Top Play on the day as he also had USC as his 4* on the day. Big Swiss had Clemson as a 3* Regular Play win on the week as Georgia Tech jumped out to a 24-0 lead in the 2Q but then Clemson got it rolling as they scored 27 unanswered PTS to give them a 27-24 lead in the 4Q. GT answered with a pair of FG in the final minutes to give them the 30-27 SU W but Clemson used the PTS they were given and Swiss got the W. The Clemson cover makes them 5-1 ATS in TL 6 at GT. Big Swiss also had 3* Plays on the week out on E Carolina and Purdue both as RD. Purdue went into Eugene as DDD and put up over 450 YDS of TTL O and grabbed 3 TO on the day as they came 2 PTS away from the SU W 36-38 to give Big Swiss the cover. The Duke went 1-3 on the week as he had 4 FAV. The Duke had Boise St (Regular Play) who has now cover 4 straight going back to LY as they dominated Miami Oh 48-0 on the Smurf Turf. The Duke lost his Top Play on the week with Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg as they held UCF to 15 YDS on the ground on the day but the DD were too much to lay as they lost their first lined game in 5 going back to LY. The Duke also had 3* Plays out on Georgia and Army both as HF for losses.

2009 WEEK 1 NCAA

Dolphin Sports went 2-2 week 1 in the NCAA Hitting Michigan in their home opener as they rolled Western Michigan. Despite much controversy these last few weeks concerning the Michigan program and Rich Rodriguez, his troops pulled together and snatched up 3 TO and put up over 400 YDS of O to give Dolphin Sports a W. Dolphin Sports also had Cal late SAT night for a 3* W as they got revenge against Maryland from last year when Maryland booked a noon game out East that still had the Cal players half asleep at kickoff. The Cal D kept pressure on Turner sacking him 6 times and kept the Terps out of the end zone till the 3Q as Cal went on to the 52-13 rout of the Turtles. Dolphin Sports lost his Top Play on the week with CO as they managed only 29 YDS on the ground all game as CO St got their 1st win in Boulder since 1986. The Dolphin also had Georgia for a 3* loss on the day as they opened their season at the grand reopening of Oklahoma State's stadium after a $286 million renovation. The Duke was on the other side of the ball in this one as he had Oklahoma ST as a regular play in his lone W on the week. The Duke also had Wake and Florida State as regular play losses, and Wisconsin for a loss as his Top Play of the week. Wisconsin held off NIU after 2 4Q TD and after NIU recovered an onside kick late in the 4Q but failed to convert on a 4th & 3 at Wisconsin's 36 YD line as Wisky got the usual home W at Camp Randall but failed to cover. Big Swiss went 1-3 on the week with his lone W coming on Baylor at Wake as he was on the opposite side of The Duke in this one. Robert Griffin, one of the QB to watch this SSN, completed his first 8 throws and finished with 136 yards passing, 1 TD and ran for 41 yards on 13 carries in the game. Big Swiss also had Illinois as a Top Play as they got destroyed by MIZZOU in St Louis, Georgia as a 3* for a L, and Arizona as a 3* loss. It looked as though Arizona was gonna get the cover in this one as they had 2nd and Goal at the CMU 1 but failed to punch it in as time ran out.
